Description

Product Description:

Eiffel Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a high-performance hydraulic brake fluid based on polyethylene glycol ether technology that provides excellent brake and clutch performance in cars and trucks. They are built to fulfil or surpass the general standards of most manufacturers of automotive disc, drum, and anti-skid braking systems, as well as clutch systems, for use in cars with DOT 3 or DOT 4 performance requirements.

Features & Benefits:

  • High boiling point – consistent and safe braking performance even at high braking pressures.
  • Reduced leakage and braking fluid- loss due to minimal swell on rubber components.
  • Excellent corrosion resistance — multi-metallurgy brake system components have a longer life and are more reliable.

Application:

  • Eiffel Brake Fluid DOT4 is designed for use in disc, drum, and anti-skid braking systems in cars that require DOT 4 level performance. They can be used in conjunction with the following suggestions:
  • Use a concentrated kind of brake fluid that has been extracted from an unopened or tightly sealed container earlier.
  • Always close the bottle after use because the Brake Fluid collects moisture from the air quickly, reducing the service life drastically.
  • Never reuse brake fluid that has been used or drained.
  • Because brake fluid can damage the paintwork of a car, spills should be cleaned up as soon as possible without rubbing.
  • Every two years or 40,000 kilometres, the vehicle’s brake fluid should be replaced (24,000 Miles).
  • For more information, consult the OEM manual.

Specifications The following International and Builder specifications are met or exceeded by Eiffel Brake Fluid DOT 4:

  • DOT 4 FMVSS 116
  • DOT 3 FMVSS 116
  • Class 3 and 4 of ISO 4925
  • J-1703 (SAE International)

Typical Characteristics

The fluid’s typical qualities differ depending on the fluid’s provider. Density at 20°C, boiling point, pH value, water concentration, and viscosity at 40°C and 100°C are all common parameters for braking fluids. On request, a Certificate of Analysis may be issued.
